Kate Wyatt 1956, is a living artist based in The United Kingdom. She is predominantly a wildlife artist who has sold something in the region of 100,000 prints. This painting in watercolor and mixed media is a large example of her work and there are few examples of this size which come onto the open market. Within the composition she has used plant material to add to the activity surrounding what appears to be a startled hare going about his daily search for food. The detail in the production in this picture and the expression of the hare is outstanding.
