Dahlias

Sir Jacob Epstein K.B.E. 1880-1959, was an American born English sculptor, who pioneered modern sculpture. He had a very long and productive career and was considered the greatest sculptor in the World at one point, he sculpted portraits of the rich and famous throughout his career and huge forms in bronze and stone. He also was a talented painter and this watercolor which is of dahlias is a fine example of his skill.
