She taught at the Royal College of Art, and her pictures can be found in a large number of collections throughout the UK. The original of this picture was originally painted by Fedden in 1984 and the whereabouts of the original painting is currently unknown, this picture is very slightly smaller than the original, it is initialed 'F' and is a recognised copy by a competent painter who clearly admired the work of Mary Fedden whose works are bright and lively as depicted here.
